Partnering with product to scale design leadership

Leading product design teams to deliver platform-scale impact

Design Manager at HEINEKEN. I guide cross-functional teams to build global B2B experiences that are scalable, usable, and business-driven.

About

About Me

I like to build things. Side projects, routines, gym trackers, note-taking workflows—tools that make life run a bit smoother. I train with intent, write to think, and stay curious about how systems work, break, and can be made better.

Most of what I make is simple by design. Not flashy. Just useful. The same mindset shapes how I live and lead: cut the noise, fix what's clunky, and stay focused on what matters.

Design Philosophy

I lead with clarity, not control — setting direction, creating structure, and trusting teams to do great work. My focus is on building systems that scale: not just design systems, but ways of working that help teams align, move fast, and make better decisions.

I coach through stretch and support — giving designers space to grow, ownership over real problems, and direct, structured feedback. Growth isn't a side conversation. It's built into how we work.

Design should simplify complexity, not decorate it. I help teams stay grounded in user needs, focused on impact, and comfortable navigating ambiguity. When design is working well, it disappears into the product — but shows up in the results.

Current Structure

01

Team Composition

I lead a team of 6 product designers embedded in product-aligned squads with dedicated research support. The structure allows each team to stay close to local market needs while contributing to a shared global platform.

02

Design Culture

Weekly critiques, monthly showcases, and strategy sprints drive momentum and accountability. I've built a culture around clarity, curiosity, and candor — where feedback is expected, and learning is public. We celebrate progress, not polish.

03

Leadership Principles

Clarity in direction, autonomy in execution, and accountability for outcomes. I run structured 1:1s focused on growth, priorities, and personal wellbeing — they're where trust is built and blind spots surface early. I expect designers to think critically, challenge assumptions, and lead alongside product and engineering — not follow.
